Thank you for shopping with Sudhika. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered. It is designed to provide transparency for customers and to comply fully with Google Merchant Center shipping and misrepresentation requirements.
HANDMADE & SMALL-BATCH PRODUCTS (Bayswater Bloom)
Bayswater Bloom soaps and home products are handmade in small batches at our home studio in London. Each item is crafted to order with care.
Processing time: 0-1 business day. Orders placed before 2 PM Monday-Friday are processed the same day. Weekend orders are processed the following Monday.
Delivery method: Royal Mail Tracked 48 or DPD Local with tracking provided for all orders.

Delivery time: 2-5 business days from dispatch to UK mainland addresses.
Product variation: As handmade items, slight variations in color, size, and appearance may occur and are part of the artisan nature of these products.
We are an online-only boutique and do not have a physical storefront for browsing.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
• Orders placed before 2:00 PM (UK time) are typically processed the same business day
• Orders placed after 2:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays are processed the next business day

Processing includes order verification, packing, and dispatch preparation.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING EU
EU Countries: Free express shipping on orders over £75. Orders under £75 incur £9.90 shipping. Delivery: 3-7 business days. All duties and taxes included at checkout (DDP).
Processing: 0-1 business day (Mon-Fri, orders before 2 PM processed same day).
Tracking provided for all international orders. Customers responsible for accurate addresses. Report damaged parcels within 48 hours with photos. Report lost/undelivered parcels within 7 days for international orders.
FURNITURE & LARGE ITEMS (DC Concept)
Free delivery for orders over £250 to UK mainland addresses. Orders under £100 incur a £9.90 delivery charge.
Dispatch: Stock items dispatched within 1-3 days. Lead times vary by product and are shown on product pages - custom or made-to-order furniture may take several weeks.
Delivery method: Smaller items via DPD Local, Yodel, or Parcel Force with tracking. Large furniture delivered to ground floor entrance (UK mainland outside London) or to room of choice for London orders over £250 (with lift access).
Additional charges: £80 fee for 2nd floor+ delivery without lift. Oversized/overweight items (certain marble, very large items) require quotation for specialized delivery.
Assembly: Some items require customer assembly. Professional assembly service available by request (additional charge).
Carbon neutral courier services used. Recycled packaging materials.
Dispatch Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking details (where available).
• Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active
• Delivery updates are provided by the shipping carrier
Delivery Attempts & Safe Place
Carriers may attempt delivery more than once or leave a delivery notification with further instructions.
If you request or select a safe place, responsibility may transfer once the carrier confirms delivery according to their tracking records.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery details entered at checkout are accurate and complete.
Sudhika is not responsible for delivery delays, losses, or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
If an order is returned due to address issues, reshipping may require address confirmation and may be subject to additional costs.
Returned-to-Sender Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, refusal, or being unclaimed, we will contact you to arrange reshipment or an appropriate resolution.
Any refund issued may exclude non-recoverable carrier or handling charges, where applicable.
Delayed, Lost, or Damaged Orders
Delays:
If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us so we can assist.
Lost parcels:
If a parcel is confirmed lost following a carrier investigation, we will provide a resolution in line with our policies (replacement or refund, subject to availability).
Damaged deliveries:
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and items so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
Orders Marked as Delivered
If tracking shows an order as “Delivered” but you have not received it, please check:
• Your safe place or delivery location
• Household members or neighbours
• Building reception or concierge (if applicable)
If the parcel cannot be located, contact us within 48 hours so we can initiate a carrier inquiry.
